Victorian Silver brooch from the late Victorian period c1880. This unusual oval shaped brooch is decorated with a delicate etching of a bird, some foliage and a pattern in one corner. In the centre of the brooch there is a cartouche originally intended for an initial. The brooch fastens with an open c clasp and is in excellent condition, measuring 4.5cm / 1.7" in length and 2cm / 0.6" in width.
